The road to Quilotoa

It’s been good to get far away from the concreting of the valleys. Up into the Central Highlands went the road from Latacunga to Quilotoa and it’s crater lake.

At times like Scotland. Other times like Peru. The most attractive landscapes we had seen in Ecuador were home to indigenous people; who still farm the land in their timeless fashion.
